Questions Answered
How long does training take? Training follows the USPPA PPG1, 2, and 3 training syllabi. Time to complete the required tasks for the ratings varies depending on the pilots athletic ability, weather, scheduling, ect. The USPPA suggests that 1-3 days to solo (PPG1) and 5-8 days to safely fly on your own (PPG2) is reasonable. Experienced paraglider pilots will be able to complete paramotor training in less time.
What will the total cost be including new gear and training? In the neighborhood of $7,500. Check out this "FREE TRAINING" article to learn more.
